About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Track gold prices in real time. Gold Watcher is the essential app for investors, jewelers, and precious metals enthusiasts who want serious tools without a serious learning curve. HOME & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS — Add a small or medium widget to see the live gold spot price, today's change, and a 7-day chart right on your home screen, in your selected currency. Lock Screen widgets show the price and today's move at a glance. They refresh through the day without opening the app. LIVE GOLD PRICE — Spot gold updated throughout the trading day. Today's Pulse headline gives you a one-sentence read on what's actually moving — new highs, big moves, streaks, or moving-average crosses — generated from live data. A second line explains the why: whether today's move came from the dollar, the 10-year yield, or gold buyers on their own. Daily range, historical charts (1D through 10Y and MAX), and a live heartbeat indicator. Switch between line and dot chart styles. Rotate your device for immersive fullscreen charts. PORTFOLIO TRACKER — Track every gold purchase with live P&L. When you sell, record the sale price and date — Gold Watcher logs the realized gain and shows your cumulative profit across closed positions. Manage holdings in oz, g, kg, dwt, tola, tael, or grain. Karat-aware: 14K and 18K pieces are valued correctly against pure gold. Mark gifts separately so they don't inflate the profit number. Export your portfolio to a spreadsheet any time, and import one back in. WHAT-IF CALCULATOR — See what your investment would be worth today if you'd bought gold at any past date. Compare returns against the S&P 500 and gold ETFs with overlay charts. Toggle between lump-sum and dollar-cost-averaging strategies. KARAT CALCULATOR — Convert between gold weight and value at the current spot price. All karats from 24K pure (.999 fine) to 9K, with fineness labels for every level. GOLD ETFs, FUTURES & MINERS — Follow GLD, IAU, and SGOL with live prices and history. Monitor gold futures. Track top gold mining stocks with live quotes. KEY RATIOS — Gold/Silver ratio with adaptive timeframe (1Y, 5Y, 10Y, MAX) and a dated x-axis. BTC/Gold ratio chart for tracking sentiment between the two hard-money assets. Real Interest Rate indicator (real yield = treasury rate minus inflation expectations) — the single best macro signal for gold. SIGNALS — Live financial news from Reuters, Bloomberg, Kitco, MarketWatch and more, each with the publisher's logo. Live Polymarket prediction-market odds on the macro forces moving gold — Fed rate cuts, inflation, recession risk, central bank reserves. SMARTER SENTIMENT — The Bullish / Bearish / Neutral badge blends short-term momentum, 50-day trend health, and news-headline tone — not just today's price change. SEASONAL PATTERNS — A 10-year average monthly return chart helps you time purchases with data, not guesswork. PREMIUM — Unlock the Portfolio and What-If tabs plus premium analytical cards. Monthly, yearly, and one-time Lifetime Access plans available. Subscribers can see their plan, price and renewal date in Settings, and switch plans without leaving the app. Current prices and free trial details are shown on the in-app paywall. 10 CURRENCIES — View everything in CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CHF, JPY, CNY, or HKD. Built by Artificial Igknorance.
