Not Yet: Purchase Delay — App Store rankings

About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Impulse purchases don’t happen because you need something. They happen because of a moment. Not Yet helps you pause that moment — and decide later, when it matters. Instead of tracking budgets or telling you what to do, Not Yet adds a short cooling-off period before a purchase and captures how you felt when you wanted it. When the wait ends, you choose — calmly and intentionally. No accounts, no onboarding, straight to the point. How it works • Add something you want to buy • Optionally attach a link or images to remember exactly what caught your eye • Choose a short delay (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days) • Capture what’s driving the urge • Wait — the item is locked • Decide later: buy it, skip it, or wait longer You can edit items at any time — update the price, notes, links, or images as your thinking changes. When you decide not to buy, you’ll see exactly what you avoided spending — a small but satisfying reminder. Why Not Yet is different Most apps remind you what you wanted. Not Yet reminds you how you felt. By replaying the emotional context — bored, stressed, excited, fear of missing out — the impulse often loses its power. What felt urgent rarely feels the same a few days later. No lectures. No guilt. No pressure. Just space to think. Designed to feel calm • Minimal, distraction-free interface • No accounts or sign-in • No ads • No clutter • Local-first and private Helpful, not obsessive • Gentle notifications at decision time • Simple stats that show what you didn’t buy • No charts or dashboards Not a budgeting app. Not a finance tracker. Just a better moment to decide. Free vs Premium Not Yet is fully usable for free. The free version includes: • Up to 3 active waiting items • Standard waiting periods (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days) • Attach links and images to purchases • Edit purchases at any time • Full decision flow and summaries • Decision reminders • All data stored locally on your device Not Yet Premium unlocks: • Unlimited active waiting items • Custom waiting durations — choose any time that fits your decision • Support ongoing development of the app Premium is optional. There are no ads, no accounts, and no data tracking — whether you upgrade or not. Not Yet — because some things are better bought later. Terms of use: https://sidetrck.org/not-yet-terms/
