Alto: Index & Export App Data — App Store rankings

About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Export Apple Notes, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Screen Time to Markdown files you own, and keep them in sync as you go. Your Mac holds years of your own writing, conversations and history, locked inside apps that will not let an AI read them. alto.index copies it all out as plain Markdown into a folder you choose, and keeps that folder current. Everything stays on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. HOW IT WORKS - Connect the apps you want - alto.index exports them as Markdown to a folder you choose - Point Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Obsidian, Cursor or any tool that reads files at that folder Every file links back to the original, so you can jump straight to a note in Notes, an event in Calendar or a thread in Messages. READY FOR AI WITHOUT ANY SETUP Every sync writes the folder's own documentation: - README.md describing what is in it - Claude Code skills, so running claude in that folder already knows how to search your notes, messages and calendar - a built-in MCP server, so Claude Desktop can read your data directly CONNECTIONS Apple Notes, Apple Mail, Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Safari history, Safari bookmarks, Chrome bookmarks, Phone Calls, Voice Memos, Screenshots, Screen Time, Apple Books, Kindle, Podcasts, Bear, Granola FREE, WITH NO LIMIT Bear, Voice Memos, Podcasts, Screen Time and Contacts export in full, for free.
